Key Revenue Figures

This section gives you an oversight of your Gross Total Revenue during your chosen time period, divided into key figures. This is an excellent tool for checking what effect your VAT / City tax and discounts or add ons has on your room revenue.

Within the key figures you will see there are two main areas, your Rooms / Units and your Grey Rooms.

One thing to note is that the key figures only take into account reservations that are:

Provisional
Booked
Checked in online
Checked in
Checked out



Revenue Terms Explained

Gross total revenue: This amount shows the revenue of rooms, add-ons, promotions or extra charges and includes VAT, but excludes city tax.

Net total revenue: This amount shows the revenue of rooms, add-ons, promotions or extra charges and excludes both VAT and city tax.

Gross room revenue: How much each room generates in revenue, including VAT

Net room revenue: How much each room generates in revenue, excluding VAT

Gross discounts: The sum of all amounts (negative or positive) that are included in the line: "discount / increase in room revenue" within the reservation, including VAT.

Net discounts: The sum of all amounts (negative or positive) that are included in the line: "discount / increase in room revenue" within the reservation, excluding VAT.

Gross add-ons revenue: The sum of all add-ons (negative or positive) that are included in the add-ons section within the reservation, including VAT.

Net add-ons revenue: The sum of all add-ons (negative or positive) that are included in the add-ons section within the reservation, excluding VAT.

City tax: The total amount of city tax charged on reservations during the selected period.

VAT x%: The Vat amount on the overall revenue.
