How to Use Negotiated Rates as a Loyalty Program for Returning Guests

Negotiated rates are a good way to incentivise returning guests and foster loyalty with your guests by offering them lower rates. On RoomRaccoon you can have a negotiated rate for your leisure and business bookings.

How to Set up a negotiated rate on RoomRaccoon

Access the Guest History tab on the left of the screen.

Go to the main booker and add all necessary data. In the lower right corner you will find the option to make a negotiated rate.

This negotiated rate will apply to all future bookings made by the booker. You can choose to give a % on your rates or a fixed amount. Check the rate types for which you want this negotiated rate to be valid for or select all of them.



Now that you have set up the negotiated rate for the booker. You can use it when you manually enter the reservation for the booker and you can give the booker the opportunity to book directly via your booking engine.

On the booking engine, when making the booking the booker will enter their email address and the system will identify that the guest has a negotiated rate. This rate will be applied after they enter the code that is sent to their email.
